Job title:

Multi Tradesman

Location:

All Areas of London

Hours/Days: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Time: 7am - 4pm

Salary:

£28K to £30K based on experience


The main purpose of this role is to carry out minor repairs in a residential setting for supported housing associations.

Also have the ability to carry out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works & property MOTs connected with all aspects of their specialist trades and any secondary trades.

The works shall be carried out in an efficient way and completed within required deadlines.


Role Description

Key Responsibilities:


Customer Service

  • To own and resolve problems.
  • To promote the Company in a positive manner when dealing with internal and external customers or at any other opportunity.
  • To respond positively, promptly, and appropriately to all customer requests.

Operations

  • Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient productivity levels are achieved.
  • Carry out adhoc and regular activity such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Account Manager.
  • Ensure works are delivered on time and budget.
  • Ensure you are fully compliant with industry standards, relevant employment legislation, ISO, and company procedures & policies.
  • Ensure all goods received notes and paperwork are returned to the Response Admin Team in a timely manner.
  • Use of PDA and Job Tickets raised correctly and in real time
  • Fill out Standby logs, material orders, vehicle report sheets, policy procedure paperwork.
  • Ensure the safe, effective use of tools and plant ensuring they are regularly maintained and serviced, and the supervisor is notified of any loss or damage.

Security

  • To adhere strictly to security policy and procedures as set by the Company.

Communication

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, ensuring continuous good levels of communication.
  • Support with internal monthly reporting as required and deliver to the Account Manager by set deadlines.

General

  • Report any contract issues to the Account Manager in a timely manner.
  • To perform any other reasonable jobrelated task that may be directed by the Account Manager or senior management of the company as requested.

Health & Safety

  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Legislation, as laid down by the Company.
  • Communicate any Health and Safety problems encountered, to relevant line manager promptly completing appropriate paperwork as required.
  • Inform relevant line manager immediately of any noncompliance, or issues.
  • Be fully aware of individual and reporting staff's responsibilities regarding the Company's Health and Safety Policy Statement
  • Ensure sites regulations and Health & Safety policies are adhere to and always followed
  • Inform relevant line manager immediately of any accidents at work and complete paperwork.
  • To be responsible for the safe use and care of equipment and materials and wear appropriate protective clothing as supplied.
  • Ensure that Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place for all work tasks being completed and that any generic RAMS are amended to specific tasks when attending site.

Desirable qualifications/experience:


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Painting and decorating
  • Plastering
  • Woodwork/Carpentry
  • Glass replacement
  • Experience in fitting external mobility handrails for people with mobility issues.
  • Competent in plumbing desirable

Essential qualifications/experience:


  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Able to drive / travel to different sites daily.
  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.
