    Business Development Manager

    Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the ongoing success of our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of branded and own-label products in the UK, Europe, and Internationally.

    This role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal part in generating new leads and sales appointments within target markets, while fostering lasting relationships with existing clients.

    The position will require occasional travel for business purposes, both nationally and internationally.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify new business opportunities across various markets and clients
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new clients, understanding their needs, and developing tailored proposals to address these requirements
    • Effective time management and ability to work independently without direct supervision
    • Responsible for Profit & Loss (P&L) management, forecasting, and achieving pre-agreed sales targets through joint marketing initiatives
    • Maintain accurate records and report on each appointment, pipeline, and daily activities
    • Liaise with colleagues across Marketing, Administration, and supply chain departments to ensure seamless communication

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record as a successful Business Development Manager within the engineering, manufacturing, or building sector
    • Comfortable managing a high-profile portfolio of blue-chip accounts and passionate about growing existing sales and profitability
