Practice Bookkeeper

Swiss Cottage, London


Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE


Contract:
Full time, permanent

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Swiss Cottage & Shepherds Bush.

Located in our shop front offices this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual with practice experience to join an ambitious,friendly firm.


  • A team player with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Preferably AAT Qualified or part ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Able to prioritise workloads and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Previous experience of working within an Accountancy Practice managing a portfolio of multiindustry clients
  • Proficient with QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, and excel

Key Bookkeeping Responsibilities:


  • Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Bank and Credit card reconciliation
  • Submitting VAT & CIS returns
  • Credit Control
  • Working with incomplete records
  • Posting Journals
  • Reconciling control accounts
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing year end file for our accountants
