College- Kingsbridge Community Primary School- Location- Kingsbridge, Devon- Contract Type- Permanent- Hours- Full Time- Salary- TBC- Posted- 2nd August 2023- Expires- 13th September :59 PM- Start Date- 4th September 2023- Job ID Kingsbridge Community Primary School have a vacancy for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join the team in Autumn 2023.

The role will include working within whole class settings, supporting groups of learners, working with specific children with special educational needs and providing cover for class teachers.


  • Has experience of teaching Read Write Inc (training will be provided)
  • Has a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • Is experienced in supporting children with special educational needs, including the ability to adapt strategies to meet individual needs
  • Has a good knowledge of effective early years teaching methodologies, including playbased learning
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and staff members
  • Is patient, empathetic, with a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and wellbeing
