Permanent - Full Time (would consider part time)
We're looking for an experienced
HR Systems Specialist to join our established
People Team on a permanent basis.


Working with stakeholders across the whole organisation, building on essential relationships, you'll be a Systems professional with a passion for working in HR & Payroll, with experience of implementing and developing HR systems, preferably iTrent and BusinessObjects.


With a system thinking approach to eliminate non-value adding processes, helping design and develop an efficient and customer service focus, whilst having the aptitude to build and grow relationships with multiple departments and stakeholders, creating anappropriate system structure and security hierarchy.

Creating and producing system reports to cover a wide range of request, monthly monitoring for the organisation and managers, you'll have the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues,provide training, coaching and support to users.


Educated to GSCE, or equivalent, in Maths and English, you'll have strong ICT systems knowledge with experience of improving and developing HR/Payroll systems.

You'll have produced management information using proprietary reporting tools (Business Objects,Cognos etc) and Excel with up-to-date knowledge of data protection law and best practice HR data management.

You'll have strong written presentation and report skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a high level of attentionto detail and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive data inline with Council policy and legislation.


Experience of iTrent HR / Payroll system and knowledge of Business Objects reporting would be beneficial, however is not essential.
