We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Chef Manager to oversee the running of this site based in The City of London.

Catering for a high quality staff restaurant with lots of hospitality, the kitchen provides a breakfast and lunch service.

The site is used for both internal and external events, and the catering offer is an important part of the package.

In addition, thereare also fine dining options. All food is freshly prepared using quality ingredients and produce and customer expectation is high.

In this role, you will be an experienced Chef Manager and be fully responsible for the day to day running of the site.

You will lead, manage and motivate a small team ensuring agency staff are booked for events as required.

As well as ensuring food is of ahigh standard, you will also be financially responsible and able to manage the budget, GP and cost control.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week.

  • Have experience as a Chef Manager within a fresh food kitchen
  • Have worked within B&I, contract catering or a similar environment
  • Be able to lead, manage and develop a team
  • Be financially astute and able to manage a budget and GP
  • Be able to manage all paperwork
  • Be genuinely passionate about food and customer service
  • Be up to date with current food trends and concepts
  • Have exceptional craft skills with a strong vegan cooking knowledge
  • Have good communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues and customers
  • Be able to think rationally and problem solve in a logically manner
  • Be flexible and willing with a positive can do attitude
