An exciting opportunity for an experienced Womenswear Designer to join a fast-growing fashion brand that has trend led quality pieces based in Manchester City Centre.

THE COMPANY

An online fashion brand in Manchester City Centre are recruiting for an experienced Womenswear Designer to join their expanding team.

You will be working within a small team of 3 reporting directly into the Creative Director where you will be creating trendled, quality pieces within each collection for the brand.

Each collection is designed in-house with exclusive styles at an affordable price.

THE ROLE

Take ownership of category, ensuring the product is available for all look book / campaigns and ecommerce shoots
Work collaboratively with Creative Director from concept to completion aligning on seasonal direction, timelines and customer insights.
Responsible for driving the vision and direction of the brand, expressing this through your designs.
Creation of mood board/packs for design presentations and constantly pushing creative boundaries, with innovative ideas and designs.
Staying up to date with trends, and actively researching the market.
Producing seasonal trend reports.
Contributing to cost saving solutions, whilst retaining quality and creativity.
Sourcing, selecting, and developing fabrics, trims etc.
Maintaining contact with external suppliers, visiting when necessary, and ensuring they have all relevant design information to make samples
Maintain awareness of market trends influencing consumers and knowing the brand's bestselling products in order to filter into the design process.

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a Designer within a fast paced, fashion environment is essential. Womenswear experience is preferred.
Good supplier connections within the industry
Must have a love and passion for fashion
Strong skills with Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat & Photoshop
Naturally creative
Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing fashion market.
Be a strong communicator with excellent organisation skills

THE REWARD

The salary for this position is up to £40k (depending on experience) and you will also be entitled to a 10% discretionary bonus.

You will be part of a thriving fashion company located in a good location close to transport links.
