The Role


We are looking for Business Professionals to lecture on our Business and Management Courses which we are delivering in collaboration with IBS Americas.

We will be running 3 programmes from
8th July th July 2024:

-
Advanced Topics in Business Management - This programme is aimed at master's level professionals with managerial experience.
-
Applied Data Science for Business - Aimed at those interested in developing knowledge in Data Science applied in the corporate decision-making process who already have basic knowledge in Statistics and Python programming.
-
Contemporary Topics in Business Strategy - For undergraduates interested in in Business Management

Specifically, we are looking for experts to teach the on the following modules:


Advanced Topics in Business Management:


  • International Accounting & Finance (11 hours per week)
  • Advanced Risk Management (11 hours per week)
  • International Corporate Law (11 hours per week)
  • Business Strategy (11 hours per week)

Applied Data Science for Business:


  • Selecting and Preparing Data for Business Applications (11 hours per week)
  • Integrating Data Science into the Business Management Process (11 hours per week)

Contemporary Topics in Business Strategy:


  • New Tools and Concepts on Strategic Thinking (6.5 hours per week)
  • Sustainability and Business Strategy (6.5 hours per week)
  • Strategic Innovation Management (6.5 hours per week)
The teaching week runs
Monday-Thursday and sessions from
&


Lecturers will usually deliver a 3-hour session on their area (s) of interest and will have fixed hours according to the modules taught.

Classes will be held at one of our
two
central London locations.


Key responsibilities:


  • To design, review and develop module material in line with the prepared module plan.
  • To deliver lectures which engage students in a dynamic, interactive and stimulating learning experience.
  • Identify the needs of learners and adapt delivery styles to meet these needs.
  • Keeping records of what was delivered
  • Providing feedback to students
  • Liaising with fellow lecturing staff and management regarding student engagement and learning.

What We Are Looking For

Knowledge, qualifications, and experience

  • Teaching qualifications/accreditation: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice or FHEA etc.

Skills and Attributes

  • A passion for what you do and the energy to deliver inspiring and practical workshops and lectures
  • You should have solid presenting and training experience and be interested in sharing your expertise with people in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to transfer their knowledge and expertise to an international audience of second language speakers.
  • Ability to deliver dynamic sessions, involving the learners in a realworld tasks or other immersive approaches.
