Do you have experience of GC/MS and LC/MS? Are you able to troubleshoot and repair equipment? Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can use your expertise in a field service role?

Our client is a global solutions provider for chromatography equipment focusing on working with clients from all corners of the scientific markets.

They pride themselves on being top-class customer partners with a view to giving support and assistance ona range of equipment.

They are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team in the UK.

Responsibilities will include giving support to customers by supporting repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and upkeep of chromatography equipment.

Although the role is not a sales position, a level of commercial acumen will need to be utilised during therole to promote the business.

A high level of customer service is also highly necessary within the role so you will need to work to close timescales and be able to manage client visits well.

Continuous learning and keeping up to date with technology will alsobe highly important.

To be considered for the role you will have significant experience of gas chromatography and have worked within a laboratory and service engineering position previously.

Expertise of maintenance, repair and installation of GC/MS and LC/MS equipment is alsonecessary.

You should be able to communicate effectively with customers as well as colleagues and you should have a strong ability to organise and prioritise your time.

A full clean driver's licence is also mandatory for the position as is a readiness to travelacross the UK & Ireland.
