A vacancy has arisen for a Civils Ganger, to join our team. This position will appeal to an individual looking to expand their skill base within the water sector.

S&B Utilities as a group of companies are involved in all major civils and engineering sectors, working in exciting areas such as Ministry of Defence and regulated water industry.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -_****_
- *

Act as the lead in a civils gang to cover all aspects of civil engineering installations from Manholes, pipelaying (both gravity and pressure systems), Installation of shoring systems (including both boxes and sheet piled excavations), Kerbing and ACO drainage systems
Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality
Run a small gang of civils operatives
Ensure all permits are in place
Ensure lift plans are in place
Ensure Loler and puwer checks have been completed
Ensure excavation check sheets have been completed
In the absence of the site supervisor/Manager ensure all daily paperwork is filled in and signed.
