Dorchester and West Adult and Community Services are looking to recruit a full time Case Support Coordinator.

You will join our dynamic Service Support Team at the Bridport Local Office providing Specialist Business Support to the team members (Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Social Care staff), service users and their carers.

What you can expect to be doing:

This post offers the flexibility of working in a hybrid way providing support based in both the office as well as working from home.


  • The work entails administrative support for social care practitioners, including but not limited to:
  • co-ordination of case referrals, working closely with Duty Team
- arranging appointments and meetings including team meetings and 1:1 sessions
- customer liaison and liaison with commissioned providers
- call handling, dealing with case related queries which do not require assessor intervention i.e. signposting or resolving day to day queries and issues
- dealing with correspondence including word processing/Excel and drafting and sending straightforward correspondence
- responsibility for system input and integrity of data on our client record system.
- working closely with Social Workers supporting clients with learning disabilities


You may also be required to take minutes of Best Interest meetings and Multi Agency Risk Management Meetings held within the locality.


About you:

You will have experience of working in an office environment and have excellent organisational and customer service skills.
A flexible attitude and team working are required to support a positive approach and provide a high-quality service.
