Stock Controller - Rotherham S RJ

Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join the Supply Chain team in Rotherham. You will be responsible for managing the supply and demand of inventory, ensuring adequate stocks are available at all times, to ensure the production plan can be achieved and our customers receive their products on time and in full.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement controls to maintain stock accuracy, including half and end year stock takes.
• Ensure delivery schedules are maintained accurately.
• Through analysis of the production plan and in conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager completing order forms for incoming inventory.
• Verify goods receipts and ensure the ERP system is accurately maintained and updated.
• Ensure supplied stocks meet demand and highlight any potential issues with stock supply immediately.
• Liaise with production, planning and logistics to prevent overstocking and over ordering.
• Monitor inventory and supplies for timely restocking.
• Develop plans for purchasing of supplies to ensure these are purchased at the best price.
• Gather relevant data and produce ad hoc reports as and when required for other stakeholders
• Project leadership and deployment of resources.
• Provide cover for other team members during holidays.
• Other ad hoc duties as they arise.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative experience is essential and procurement experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication, written and oral skills, with the ability to work well as part of a multi disciplinary team.
• A good level of IT skills with the ability to utilise the Microsoft suite of packages and in house systems.
• Excellent attention to detail.
