Fire Door Carpenter/Joiner (Installation & Maintenance)

We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter/Joiner to join our team and support our continued growth in this industry.

As a highly motivated, time served Joiner you will be looking to bring your skills to the next level of perfection, installing and maintaining fire doors.

Your attention to detail and pride in your work is essential for this role. To carry out the installation and maintenance of fire doors within strict guidelines of manufacturers specifications.

You MUST be competent to work under UKAS accreditation such as BM Trada when carrying out your daily duties and be able to work off Fire Door Risk Assessments.

This role could develop into a Supervisor role so you would need to be able to work alone and with a team.

Working away is sometimes required. A Company van can be provided if required. This position is on price work.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Installing new fire doors and associated frame and fittings
• Maintaining & repairing fire doors
• Inspection of fire doors to identify deficiencies
• Understanding and advising customer on fire protection

Required Sills:

• Extensive knowledge of schemes such as BM Trada, FIRAS or equivalent
• Attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Reliable & Flexible
• Good organization and communication skills

All Applicants MUST have the following:

• Experienced in fire door installation and remedials (upgrades)
• CSCS Card
• UTR number
• Full set of battery operated tools
• Time Served Joiner
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to Work in UK

Salary:
£50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Carpentry: 5 years (required)

Maintaining Fire Doors: 5 years (required)

• Working under BM Trada/Firas: 5 years (required)

Installing Fire Doors: 5 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

• CSCS Skilled Worker Blue or Gold Card (required)
• UK Driving Licence (required)
