Description
We are currently seeking a CNC Milling Machinist to join our prestigious client in Swindon. This role will be working on our double day shift pattern.


This role would be expected to run two Okuma CNC lathe machines, with short cycles, high volume and tight tolerances, therefore experience of running turning machines and the use of inspection equipment would be required.


The primary functions of the role include:

  • Operating CNC turning machines (2 x Okuma lathes).
  • Maintain a high level of quality control using a range of measuring equipment as
100% inspection is required (micrometres, electronic equipment, etc).

  • Work to meet department and customer deadlines.
  • Working area to be maintained in line with company 5S standards.

This job description is not exhaustive, and the jobholder may be expected to perform other reasonable duties as and when required.

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience running CNC lathes.
  • Experience of working on a double day shift pattern preferable.
  • Experience of using measuring equipment for part inspection.
