This is an excellent opportunity to assist the Financial Services Team within the Trust. The successful applicant will assist with the timely provision of an efficient, high-quality service within the Finance Function. This role is generic across all of Finance Systems, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable and Technical Finance (Financial Services).
Interview Date: 20 June 202- 37 hours 30 minutes/week

We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to work in our busy Finance Services Team.

  • Provide support to Technical Accounts.
  • Ensure that all Debtors cash received and or Paid on timely Basis into the organisation is allocated correctly.
  • Actively assist in the recovery of income due to the Trust.
  • Assist in compliance with Better Payment Practice and the NHS Cash Management Policy.
  • Enter data onto the Oracle finance system.
  • Assist with cashiering departments where relevant.
  • Assist with the timely input of income and payment data into Oracle.
  • Ensure finance systems are kept up to date
  • Follow the finance procedure notes with attention to detail

The successful applicant will assist in the day-to-day operation of the Financial Services department ensuring the delivery of a consistently high-quality service to the Trust.


  • To work flexibly as required to meet the needs of the various Financial Services Department teams.
  • To assist in the coordination and control of activities within Financial Services.
  • To ensure that transactions relating to the Trust's activities are processed in a timely manner.
  • To work flexibly and actively assist in the collection or payment of monies relating to the Trust's activities.
  • To take immediate action in any remedial adjustments required to ensure the accurate financial recording of the Trust's activities.
