ATA Recruitment are working with a leading turnkey project management company and process design consultancy. Due to investment the company are growing rapidly and are on the verge of becoming a £100 million business.

As a result of their expansion and growth we are currently supporting the business in the recruitment of a Project Planner to work on projects in the UK and globally.

The Role

As a Project Planner, you will be part of an established and dynamic Project Management Office team, assisting in the development of strategic project plans that range from 2 to 20 million in value, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a business which as exciting growth plans to run process projects in the health and beauty and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key responsibilities for a Project Planner will be:

Ensuring that all schedules are generated with project structures and that they are maintained and updated throughout the project.
Identify risks within the project schedules.
Perform and analyse critical path analysis.
Maintaining and updating resource schedules.
Communicate with the project team to manage conflicting demands.
Integrating with the Project Managers whilst promoting the project planning processes.

The Project Planner ideally will have:

Brilliant communication and influencing skills.
Previous project planning experience.
Experience in planning projects worth £500k or more.
The ability to build and develop work breakdown structures (WBS)
Proficiency in using project planning software such as MS Projects/Primavera.
