Part of the global leader Bain & Company, Proxima is a well-established and leading management consulting firm specialising in procurement & supply chain, currently with offices in London, Leeds, Cardiff, and Chicago; with new European offices opening shortly.

Hybrid working is the norm with time spent at client site, your local office and home.


We are experiencing growth across the business but specifically within our Client Management team we are seeing significant expansion across central Europe.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively contributes to the growth and success of the organisation by performing their functional role with excellence and by constantly seeking ways for Proxima to increase its success through the achievement of the company strategy
  • Accountable for the following in allocated sector/ regional area:
  • Exceptional client outcomes (in terms of deliverables)
  • Team management & leadership
  • Client pipeline development
  • Obligations to Proxima (P&L)
  • Client order book and inyear revenue
  • Maintaining the business pipeline and building relationships with key current and future clients within your regional area
  • Increasing Proxima's brand and reputation in the marketplace
  • Working closely with the delivery organisation to develop and implement solutions
  • Managing team members within the resourcing guidelines of the organisation and within profitability targets for your clients
  • Actively involved in driving internal organisationwide improvements
  • Actively be a mentor and guide to project members

Your Experience

  • A deep understanding of procurement which you can articulate well
  • The ability to recognise the issues which a client has, and the underlying implications, and to turn this into imaginative solutions for the client and an opportunity for Proxima
  • Be able to handle a complex portfolio of potential solutions simultaneously
  • Demonstrate high intellectual capability and flexibility, effectively problem solving, absorbing information, prioritising on a daily basis and making recommendations for action.
  • Demonstrate an ability to connect to people quickly. Be able to recognise key drivers and the best ways to handle individuals.
  • Communicate effectively through the use of PowerPoint or Word
  • Produce high quality PowerPoint, Excel and Word materials.
