They are looking for a trainee office assistant, who will play an essential part in the day to day running of the office and would be perfect for someone who is organised and has good attention to detail and who can complete tasks to a high standard andwork to tight deadlines.? The Trainee Office Assistant will be key in the Co-ordination and provision of central services to assist with the full functionality and smooth running of the office.

Trainee Office AssistantMain Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining office stationery supplies
  • Liaising with office cleaners, and maintaining office cleaning and supplies
  • Answering general enquiry calls and fielding as appropriate
  • Clean and refill coffee machine, water coolers and kitchens. Liaise with suppliers and maintain stocks of consumables
  • Ordering and receipt of office food
  • Ordering of taxis for staff and visitors
  • Ordering and issuance of site parking permits
  • Issue of visitor badges and attending to the needs of any visitors
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Liaison and booking of office maintenance companies
  • Assisting with general office administration
  • Issue and maintenance of company mobile phones
  • Nonstock ordering
  • Other general office duties
  • Maintenance of staff, supplier and support company databases

Trainee Office AssistantRequired Skills:


  • Proficiency with industrystandard computer packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and internal systems?
  • Selfstarter. Willing to work as necessary to support the team.??
  • Comfortable with working independently while remaining in close touch with the core work teams.?
  • Solid writing and content development skills.??
  • Thrives in a changing environment. Stays flexible to shift tasks as needed but conscientious about completing work assignments.?
  • Strong organisational skills. Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.?
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and concisely??
  • Sound understanding of commercial and retail enterprises and their functioning??
