Fixed Term contract employment
**Part time position 13 hours per week
- Extra hours available weekly ****3 day working
We operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week so there is always an opportunity to pick up extra hours if you are available.
Weekly pay each Friday / Probation period of 3 months / Shifts fixed following successful probation. National Minimum wage for all support workers, this will vary dependant on age.

4 bed home based in
Rotherham Town Centre for learning disabilities and behaviour that challenges. Residential setting to promote independence in individuals using the service. Supporting them to conduct their daily tasks in the home and out in the community.
On shift work entails cleaning, cooking, and following care plans. Out in the community work occurs at set weekly activities such as drama, gym and music sessions.
Please ensure you are available to work weekends all full-time staff are entitled to alternate weekends off.
Training is fully provided, and you are paid for the hours you spend completing your training at both home and the workplace within your 3-month probation period.
Skills and experience you may need:
- Fluent in English language
- Level 2 Health & Social Care / Willingness to undertake Level 2 Health & Social Care and attend training
- A willingness to get involved in activities and encourage those you care for to broaden their experiences and gain independence
- No experience of care required (however it is an advantage), if no experience, the Care Certificate is to be carried out and completed during first 6 weeks of employment
- Accessibility to the home by living local or access to driving
- Caring nature, and openness to all individuals disregarding disability / background.
- Cleaning and cooking are a major part of infection control tasks and duties you may have. Training is given in this area, however we would expect some prior experience.
- Professional attitude and reliability is of key importance
- Ability to show person centred values and promote independence for individuals that use our service
