Python Developer
Permanent - £70,000 - £80,000 (based on experience) - London


Key Skills:
Solid Python experience, Experience with C#, Previous experience with at least one major E/CTRM platform e.g. Endur, Allegro etc ,Experience working with messaging and distribution systems e.g. Kafka

An exciting opportunity to work with a global asset management organisation. The client is looking for a highly motivated and eager individual with strong communication skills, to join their team.

You should be able to write and deliver clean, concise, and accurate code.


Location:

Hybrid working with 3 days in the office, must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to come into the office if required.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Be accountable for the backend development in Python
  • Automation of the operational processes for the commodities desk
  • Troubleshoot and identify problems and derive solutions for them

Key Experience:


  • Previous experience incorporating Python development
  • Experience with at least one major E/CTRM vendor platform e.g. Endur, Allegro, Entrade, Brady
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of messaging systems e.g. Kafka
  • Industrial experience within the Energy sector

Desirable Skills:


  • Experience with C#
  • Previous experience working with Git
  • Strong both individually and within a team
  • Working with diverse teams globally
