Maintenance Co-ordinator

Edinburgh / Salary Guide:
£24,000 to £25,500


Our client is keen to secure an enthusiastic, well organised, proactive new team member to join their busy Edinburgh Office.


A 'strong eye' for detail, excellent administration and a natural flair for customer service will serve you well in this busy role.


Full UK Driving Licence essential

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Assisting when required with arranging compliance certifications ensuring properties are always up to date
  • Dealing with daytoday maintenance issues
  • Obtaining quotes from contractors
  • Keeping tenants/landlords fully informed
  • Sourcing new contractors for the continually growing portfolio
  • Carrying out regular property inspections
  • Keeping up to date with current compliance legislations and advising landlords accordingly
  • Instructing work orders to contractors
  • Assisting our accounts department with data entry, including invoice processing

About you

  • Some experience in dealing with property maintenance, preferable but not essential
  • Knowledge of current legislations, preferable but not essential
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Pro active 'can do' approach
  • Experience of using a property management software programme i.e., SME, preferable but not essential
  • Can work as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
  • Professional and presentable
  • Our client will put the successful person through the Scotland qualification (safeagent) or other industry equivalent,

Other Information:

  • The position is full time, Monday
  • Friday 9am 5pm

Salary:
£24,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
