This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week


We are seeking to appoint an Academic Standards Officer, who will be responsible for supervising the effective delivery of student casework relating to academic appeals, student complaints, student discipline, academic misconduct and fitness to practise.

The post holder will also work closely with the academic Colleges and staff in Professional Services to ensure swift resolution of student casework.


The Quality and Standards Office plays a key role in the development of the University's quality assurance and academic regulatory frameworks, including the approval, monitoring and review of courses.

It also provides a Committee Secretariat function and supports the University's three Colleges in meeting their responsibility for quality assurance, academic standards and governance.
