    Description

    Principal Civil Engineer - Water

    We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer with water experience to join our team in Leeds. As a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, we are currently working on a strong pipeline of work within the water sector.

    You will work on exciting projects with major water companies across the UK and Ireland, contributing to delivering AMP8 projects in Yorkshire and providing outline to a large range of projects across Clean/Waste Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure programmes.

    About the Role:

    • Work across a project lifecycle in asset planning / strategy, concept design, outline design and detailed design.
    • Deliver civil engineering design for various project areas within the water sector, including clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage.
    • Lead the civil engineering team on projects and collaborate with overall project design leads to ensure successful project delivery.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Extensive design experience in the UK water industry.
    • Educated to a degree level in Civil Engineering.
    • Ideal Chartered status with a relevant professional body (ICE or CIWEM).
    • Experience delivering community-focused projects.
    • Experience working in a client-facing role.
