Based Cargo, Carlisle - CA6 4BA:

Rotating shifts, 6-2 & 2-10 (Mon-Fri):


Full-time / Permanent:


In support of our continued and exciting growth, we are recruiting for a Production Operator within the Added Value Operations Department at our Carlisle mill.

As an Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products - on time and to specification.


_Specifically, some responsibilities of a Production Operator may include:
_:

  • Operation of machinery to reprocess timber.
  • Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.
  • Working towards set production targets.
  • Manual handling of timber.

We are seeking motivated individuals who are quality focused and understand the value of the goods they are producing.

A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximized, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage.


In addition, you will have:

  • Appreciation of Quality and Health & Safety.
  • Good computer, numeracy, and literacy skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
