We are looking to hire a skilled fitter to fabricate, fit, and assemble the components of various mechanical systems.


Currently working a morning shift - 6am - 2pm - but due to expansion the shifts will move to a 2 shift pattern in the next few months and then onto a 3 shift pattern towards the end of the year.


This role is a hands on position as you will be working with a very small team - so flexibility to do what is needed when it is needed is essential.


You will be responsible for:
- planned and reactive maintenance
- pneumatics
- electrics/PLCs
- installations of new equipment
- diagnostics and repair of gearboxs, compressors etc...
- machining if needed - turning and milling
- process improvements
- assist on the line when needed
- keeping records of work done


You will need:
- proven experience working as a fitter
- electrical experience is desirable
- ability to read drawings and if capable use auto-cad to complete own work - desirable
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
- a hands on attitude
