Our Timber Systems division is the UK's leading designer and manufacturer of timber frame building solutions, specialising in off-site construction.

We work on over 350 live projects per year, supporting customers on-site and building timber kits across our two bespoke factories in Westhill - Aberdeenshire, Witney - Oxfordshire and in an additional hub space in Falkirk.

Our services cover concept design information and technical guidance, full design service, manufacture, delivery and construction on site.

The role

Reporting to the Buyer Team Lead, you will be an integral part of the Procurement Department providing general administrative support in order to meet the department objectives by accurate and timely processing of information.

In keeping with the specific importance given to Health & Safety and the Environment by the Donaldson Group you have specific accountabilities as set out in our Corporate Responsibility for Health & Safety and Environmental Policy.

Accountabilities

Ordering of goods and services to meet customer expectations in a timely manner. Ensuring that orders are clear and concise and match quotes from suppliers where applicable.
Taking responcability and ownership for life cycle of orders ensuring date management is maintained and cummunicated both internally and externally.
Ensure that delays or long lead in times are notified to the internal supply chain
Ensure that quotes are within budget and if not notify your line Manager for approval
Ensure that all costs on Axapta are maintained and monitored to allow accounts to match invoices against orders
Proactive management of quality issues to include recording new issues and ordering of goods and services to site when required.
Document control including filing electronically and archiving historical paperwork
Updating and maintaining the item table when required
