Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with preparing Tenders for jobs
  • Prepare reports on job costing,
  • Compiling tender files
  • Forward ordering project materials as quantified.
  • Asist in the preparation of variations, valuations, final accounts. Ensuring the agreed submission dates are achieved.
  • Prepare weekly reports on job progress
  • Preparation of final accounts.
  • Review and interpretation of tender documents, specifications, contracts & other related materials
  • Assessing labour costs
  • Effective liaison, support and assistance between the tender process department, Senior Management, rest of Organisation.
  • Support the compilation of Quality Tender Submissions
  • Monitoring of the tender submission process for accuracy, formatting, completeness, consistency, and compliance
  • Monitoring of the overall performance of the tender process to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organisation
  • Partaking in pre, mid
- & post-tender meetings

  • Maintaining accurate records and managing data related to the tendering process
  • Assist in streamlining tender processes.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • 3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction or other relevant discipline considered an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong operational skills and an attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customers focus skills and attitude
  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
  • Driven Team player
  • Exceptional Organisational skills
  • Experience of Cost X or Buildsoft would be an advantage
  • Experience of Auto Cad and BIM systems would be an advantage
  • Sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
