**National Account Manager - FMCG / Retail
West Yorkshire
£50,000 - £55,000**Are you a business development / account management professional with a proven track record of driving sales within an FMCG environment?
Do you have experience of successfully managing and growing accounts in Retail?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established FMCG business going through an exciting period of growth and development, whose customers are amongst the biggest players in the UK retail market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of your defined product category, covering both existing account management and new business development
  • Developing appropriate strategies to grow and develop existing customer accounts, including conducting analysis and range reviews to maximise sales
  • Winning new retail accounts to further business growth opportunities
  • Preparing customer presentations and tender proposals for high value business opportunities
  • Achieving annual sales and margin budgets

Ideal Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in both account management and new business development
  • Previous experience in FMCG, managing retail accounts
  • Experience preparing and submitting high value tenders
  • Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
  • Drive and ambition to deliver strong sales performance across your accounts
  • Confidence to work independently and autonomously
