We are seeking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a relevant NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).The vacancy is likely to be based in KS1 and you will become an integral part of the team.
You will work with children of all abilities in a whole class setting as well as withdrawing individuals and small groups for focussed support.
We are looking for a TA who:
- will work with children of all abilities in a whole class setting as well as withdrawing individuals and small groups for focused support
- has the ability to effectively support the learning and emotional needs of children
- has a positive approach and a desire to understand and to support children's needs
- has high level literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE grade C or above)
- is flexible and adaptable
- works well under direction, but also shows initiative and can take ownership of tasks
- enjoys working as part of a team
