Join us as a Credit Risk Reporting Lead, working in the Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting team

  • In this key role, you'll be leading a team working within Finance that are providing Wholesale Credit Risk reporting support, insight and challenge to stakeholders using expert risk judgement
  • This is an opportunity to collaborate crossfunctionally, creating strong networks and stakeholder relationships to bring together diverse and competing views to make sure future needs are met

What you'll do:


As the Credit Risk Reporting Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team who are delivering the required Wholesale Credit Risk reporting outcomes to support decision making, risk committees and boards.

You'll also play a key role in the design, implementation and management of the target operating model


As well as this, you'll be improving the level of insight, oversight and challenge provided to the bank and driving consistency, accuracy and timeliness of data and reporting used for insightful analysis to support the board, senior risk stakeholders and risk appetite committees.


You'll also be:

  • Leading a team that are responsible for producing, developing and maintaining credit risk reporting
  • Working with a wide range of business stakeholders to interpret risk and control data, enabling management to identify key trends and manage improving or deteriorating risk profiles
  • Supporting the transformation programme in its aim to automate reporting and increase selfserve capabilities
  • Supporting adhoc reporting requests
  • Accountable for adequacy and effectiveness of various control or business activities, as undertaken, in compliance with Enterprise Risk Management Framework

The skills you'll need:


To succeed in this role, you'll need effective stakeholder management and influencing skills coupled with strong project management and governance experience, including complex project understanding with a focus on risk change.

In addition, you'll need the ability to understand how change affects the risk environment and lead effective solution delivery.

We'll also look to you to bring:

  • A technical awareness of systems and data including cloud based technologies like AWS and visualisation reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI and similar
  • The ability to challenge existing processes and effect change
  • Hands on expertise in delivering reporting and the required controls across Credit Risk reporting
  • The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with business and technology colleagues at multiple levels
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
