Description

We are looking for a reliable and versatile individual to join our Day shift, which runs from 06:30 - 15:00, 5 days a week, Monday - Friday.

Operating CNC & Manual Capstan Lathes / Millers, manufacturing Bolts, Nuts, Socket Capscrews, Studbolts, and other special fasteners. Occasionally performing other duties, such as packing / counting / stamping.

Skills Required:

Ability to monitor the running of a CNC Machine, efficiently loading / unloading with minimum downtime.
Ability to Operate a Manual Lathe (onthejob training provided if unexperienced)
Ability to perform Tool / Tip Changes, as instructed.
Working to tight tolerances**:

- **ability to monitor quality of own production, using Vernier and Micrometer Gauges.

Experience / A background in Engineering would be advantageous, but not essential.

2 x 15 Min Breaks, 30 mins unpaid meal break

Overtime paid at +33% per hour

Rate:
£10.75 per hour

Production Manager
