We currently have a vacancy within the delivery team for a Technical Consultant where you will become part of our accomplished infrastructure community, working with the latest technologies on challenging and complex Cloud and Modern Workplace transformation journeys, helping our clients to get the very best out of their investment in IT.


Commercial designs, implements, supports and secures the IT infrastructures of some of the UK's top organisations within both the public and private sector.

No client has the same needs, and our solutions and support packages are tailored to the specific requirements of each client.


This varied role will involve a combination of working from our head office in Cheltenham, remotely from home and moderate travel to our client sites throughout the UK as and when required.

Please note applicants must be within a commutable distance to the South-West region.


Your responsibilities as a Technical Consultant will be:

  • Take ownership for technical delivery of projects and complete hands-on technical implementation.
  • Have a proven track record in successful delivery of Modern Workplace migrations.
  • Execute technical workshops and assessments, gathering requirements to help understand problems and explore solutions.
  • Be selfmotivated with the ability to identify priorities and manage multiple workloads and projects. Attention to detail is a must with a methodical and professional approach to solution design and implementation.
  • Have excellent communication skills, along with a high level of technical expertise and a genuine passion for technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a consultancy role, with significant exposure to the technologies.
  • Ideally be certified with the core industry certifications and have a good amount of experience in customer facing handson design and implementation, preferably working within an IT reseller environment.

  • Strong technical background, with hands on experience with migrations to the Microsoft Modern Workplace
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)Microsoft 36

  • Microsoft OneDrive
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
  • Entra ID Conditional Access
  • Windows 10 / 11 and Autopilot deployment
  • Windows Server Operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Backup and DR technologies
  • Web and Email Security
  • Competent with PowerShell
It would also be beneficial to have experience of:

  • Microsoft Defender solutions
  • Microsoft Exchange (onpremises)
  • Microsoft Modern Workplace migration tooling (MigrationWiz, Quest, AvePoint)
  • Firewall Solutions
  • Security Solutions (AV / EDR / XDR / Encryption)
  • Hypervisor technologies (VMware / Hyper-V)
  • Server technologies
  • SAN technologies
  • HPE and Aruba technology stack
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
  • Corporate wireless solutions
  • Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
