HGV / LGV Driving Instructor


Due to an ever-demanding need for HGV drivers in the UK, Hughes Driver Training is now looking to recruit a large number of driving instructors to join the UK's largest HGV/LGV driver training centre.


  • 45 hours per week Mon to Fri No weekends
  • Experience is highly desirable, but if you have a clean Cat C+E licence with at least 3 years of HGV driving experience, we will provide you with the relevant training.
  • We ask that you are reliable, able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism
  • Confident and able to give clear instructions
  • Easily be able to adapt your teaching style to suit each learner
  • Good road safety knowledge and excellent driving skills
  • Ensuring that training logs are completed and uploaded weekly, following the correct process
  • Ensuring that the safeguarding & prevent policies are followed correctly
  • British values & Company values are demonstrated
  • Ensure that your CPD log is updated regularly with any training obtained I.E Prevent & Safeguarding, NIVDIR etc

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£32,850.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
