Description

GB Mail is a mailing house based in Aylesbury, providing mail, storage & fulfilment and print services. We are looking for a competent forklift operator to unload/load articulated lorry's and move pallets/stock around our facilities. You will be operating a counterbalance forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.

You must be a responsible individual with experience in driving industrial vehicles.

The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

Unloading pallets from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places
Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Loading and unloading pallets to and from racking
Wrapping pallets using a pallet wrapper
Replenishment of consumables, e.g providing pallets of trays/cages/mail bags for the mailing lines
Collect finished work from mailing lines and load to vehicles/store away for future collection.
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
Comply with company policies and safety/legal guidelines
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
