About our client

Our client, a well-established mid-market private equity firm are currently looking to hire an interim Compliance Associate to join their expanding compliance team.

The fund manage investments across several sectors including technology across the US and Europeanmarkets.

With international offices and over 100 employees globally, the Compliance Associate will work alongside the senior members of the team to become an integral part of the compliance function.

The fund are experiencing a growth phase and have a fund-raiselined up for the near future, making it an exciting period to join.


What the job involves

As the Compliance Associate you will work alongside the Head of Compliance to support and lead on a range of generalist compliance tasks.

You will have the opportunity to help build out the compliance function as the fund continues to grow. You will also havethe opportunity to join the team on a permanent basis, following your contract. There is a clear defined career path within the team allowing you excellent progression.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support on management of the compliance function, both in the UK and across the fund.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance to implement effective policy changes to reflect changing law and regulation
  • Ensure the fund has appropriate procedures in place to meet its regulatory obligations across jurisdictions.
  • Provide investment compliance monitoring and advisory support to the business on an adhoc basis
  • Oversee KYC/ AML procedures and support due diligence for transactions

Who we are looking for:


  • Experience within Private Equity/ Investment Management Compliance is beneficial
  • An understanding of private investments would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the FCA and SEC regulatory regimes applicable to private equity
  • A proactive individual with an eye for details, communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
