Description

Duties:

  • Assist optometrists and opticians in providing patient care and services
  • Prepare patients for eye examinations by taking their medical history and performing preliminary tests
  • Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
  • Assist with frame selection and fitting for eyeglasses
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Clean and maintain optical equipment and instruments
  • Order and maintain inventory of optical supplies

Experience:


  • Previous experience working in an optometry or optical setting is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy and eye health is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Salary:
From £22,500.00 per year
