Overview:


You do not need to have experience of heritage services or Preservica, our digital preservation system, but you will need to have the knowledge and experience to establish and manage workflows around the creation of digital assets and their storage, preservation and management.

About the role:


Fixed


As a 'fixed' worker, you'll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed.

Typically, you'll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Create and implement workflows for the production of digital assets and their ingestion into our digital preservation system
  • Collaborate with a Council department on the pilot project for the ingestion of born digital assets into the archives collection
  • Managing and maintaining the content of the archives' digital preservation system
