Salary:
£52,340 - £60,000 (Depending on experience)


Location:
Peterborough - hybrid working pattern available

Job Summary


Caterpillar's Emissions & Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC) Group is accountable for interpreting, communicating and leading the enterprise to a strong position of global emissions regulatory compliance.


The UK Emissions Marking Team are recruiting for the position of Emissions Marking Compliance Lead, this team is part of the wider Caterpillar EPRC organisation and are responsible for the Certification and Labelling of all engines manufactured in Perkins production facilities located in Peterborough, UK; Griffin, US; Curitiba, Brazil; Wuxi, China and Hosur, India for the medium engine products <7.1 Litre.

Labelling enables sale of these engines to all applicable engine exhaust emissions regulated territories.


What You Will Do:


The Emissions Marking Compliance Lead will be responsible for ensuring all Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD-M) engines are labelled in accordance with worldwide emissions regulatory requirements.

This position supports product regulatory compliance programs through emission labelling that assist in managing compliance risk and ensuring compliance with applicable product regulatory requirements for intended markets.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop expertise in the Certification Data Management (CDM) and Enterprise Label Printing System (ELPS) systems for all emissions marking related functionality.
  • Become fluent in all relevant emission regulatory product marking requirements and provide regulatory guidance to the business on engine emissions compliance marking.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities for emissions marking related processes and tools.
  • Champion for the Emissions Marking Team for all new systems development to include requirements gathering and user acceptance testing.
  • Lead / champion resolution of emissions marking related issues.
  • Process owner for emission label content and label design work.
  • Handson execution of emissions marking processes supporting both production and exempt engines for multiple production facilities.
  • Provide support to team members for various postproduction label processes.
