When mergers & acquisitions are large enough to make it from the financial press, broadsheets' business pages and into the mainstream media, the insurance implications are significant - and this broker's boutique M&A Practice is at the cutting-edgeof this fascinating niche.


This dedicated team of 20 specialist insurance experts provide a high level of support to some of the biggest names in the Private Equity, Infrastructure and Alternative Asset Management industries (amongst others).

Typically dealing with UK-domiciled concerns,acquiring businesses at home and abroad, you will play a hands-on role throughout the lifecycle of investments; advising on risk and insurance matters at acquisition, portfolio management and exit / divestment stages.

Deals could originate in every conceivablesector, and this team has been responsible for advising on some of the highest profile deals in recent years from the worlds of media, property and technology.


Developing an understanding of your investor clients' deal-specific requirements, you will scrutinise target companies' risk profiles, current insurance arrangements and claims histories.

You will identify gaps in cover and suggest innovative ways that thesemay be mitigated (drawing in expertise from across this broker's wider group, sometimes globally) and provide commentary on possible associated costs.

You'll also produce a range of accurate and informative reports and documentation to support your findingsand recommendations.

Whilst this is by no means a business development role with sales targets etc, you will be encouraged to identify other commercial opportunities where this broker can help your clients.


This role can be based 100% from home should that be your preference, although you do have the opportunity to work from a regional office as often as you wish.
