Verus Recruitment Partners is seeking a skilled and passionate Quality Engineer to join our client's dynamic engineering team in South Yorkshire.

Our client, a global leader in aerospace and automotive engineering, is growing and needs your expertise to helpcontinue their success.

As their Quality Engineer, you'll support the company by taking responsibility for their non-conformance processes by deploying structured problem-solving tools and techniques in line with the company's RCCA procedures and policies.


About the role/Main responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the management, preparation, and submission of relevant customerspecific documentation for the concession process.
  • The management, preparation and submission of relevant customerspecific documentation for FAIR's.
  • You will support the inspection of products for FAIR and validation purposes.
  • Review inspection documentation against customer and internal drawings to validate conformance of product.
  • Documentation control and issue of documents to the correct company process.
  • Know and understand company and department policies and safety procedures.

About you/Essential skills:

  • At least 3 years experience in Quality engineering.
  • Qualified to HNC level or above in a Quality, Manufacturing or Production Engineering OR have Significant industry experience.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Aerospace customer requirements (Concessions, FAIRs)
  • Experience in a range of problemsolving techniques 8D Problem Solving, Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys methodology and process mapping
  • Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO900
  • Experience in a range of manufacturing processes like machining and fabrication/forming.

  • A salary of between £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience
  • Generous holiday allowance (185 hours, plus bank holidays, and an extra 3 days over Christmas).

  • Whilst the initial contract is for 6 months there maybe a possibility of this being extended or becoming a permanent role.
