Responsibilities:

Your role will be a very varied role which will include Preparation of VAT returns, Preparation of Accounts, Bookkeeping, Payroll, CIS, and more

  • Preparing statutory accounts for a variety of different businesses including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll preparation for clients and submission to HMRC
  • Pensions Auto enrolment
  • Preparing selfassessment tax returns
  • Lialising with clients and assisting with their queries.
  • Dealing with enquiries and accounts admin

Person Specification:

  • You must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and working within an Accountancy Practice.
  • Proficient in using accounting software including Moneysoft Payroll, QuickBooks and Xero
  • Good computer literacy (MS Office, Excel)
  • You will have excellent communications skills and be able to liaise with clients on a regular basis
  • Familiarity with payroll procedures and governmental accounting regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Be able to work in a fastmoving and evolving environment
  • Be keen to develop your career in the profession
