    Are you looking for a specialist role in supporting students with their studies?

    The Learner Support Team at {company} provides support and exam access arrangements for students with a range of learning differences, disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical conditions.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic professional to fill the Exam Access and Specialist Support Tutor position. This role involves teaching, supporting, and assessing learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) in a Post 16 environment.

    The successful candidate will value, encourage, and support diversity and foster a spirit of mutual respect with students and colleagues.

    Responsibilities

    • Teach and support learners with SpLD in a Post 16 environment
    • Assess and provide exam access arrangements for students with specific needs
    • Develop and implement learner support plans to ensure academic success
    • Provide one-to-one support for learners on all levels of study

    Requirements

    • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., DTLLS, Cert Ed or other Post 16 equivalent)
    • A qualification that meets JCQ requirements for Assessors of Exam Access Arrangements
    • Excellent report writing skills
    • Experience of completing learner support plans
