Female Care Assistant/s for a young woman in DH1 area £11.

50 per hour:
Female Care Assistant/s required to support a young woman with a physical disability (Huntington's disease), who lives in the Newton Hall area of Durham

  • We are looking for two Care Assistants to support a young woman with day to day activities, including some assistance with housework and accompanying to social activities such as going out for coffee/shopping. Some personal care may be required on occasion.

2 Carers to cover 3.5 hours per day 3 days per week, 3 hours per day one day per week.

From 11am, although this time is flexible and details of hours can be discussed with employer.
Will be required to cover holidays for each other if possible


Hours /Wage:

£11.50 per hour

Duties:


  • Light housework, including making the bed
Accompanying client to social activities locally such as coffee, shopping.
Occasional personal care.


Additional Requirements/Information:


  • Must like dogs as there are two friendly dogs at the property
  • Car driver required with own car
  • Client uses wheelchair when out and about
  • Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost
