    Default job background
    Description
    Hartlepool Receptionist
If you enjoy providing great service and working in a team, we have an opportunity at our Hartlepool Vets for Pets.

What your typical day will look like:
    1. Provide exceptional service to clients and the best care possible to their pets, as a link between clients and the clinical team.
    2. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering great client service during a client's visit, leaving them knowing they have received exceptional service and looking forward to their next visit.
    3. Greet each client, offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Use our online booking system to coordinate the smooth running of daily practice routines, requiring computer literacy.
This role is full-time or part-time and requires flexibility to cover holidays and sickness.
    There is a 1 in 4 Saturday rota (9am-12pm).

    The required attributes:
    1. Be the friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets upon arrival at the practice.
    2. Stay up-to-date with practice services and any additional services available, providing guidance to clients.
    3. Remain calm, attentive, and focused on clients' needs.
    4. Bring enthusiasm and drive to the role, matching passion for service with love for pets.
    5. Deal effectively with challenging situations, such as comforting a distressed client or sharing in the joy of a new pet's first visit.
    6. Contribute to creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice, alongside fellow colleagues.
    7. Previous experience in reception and insurance claims would be advantageous but not essential.
    Benefits:
Enjoy benefits like 20% discount at the Vet Group, Pets at Home, and the Groom Room, access to discounts and cashbacks, in-house career development opportunities, pension, and holiday allowance.

    Diversity and Inclusion:
We value and respect difference in all its forms, taking inspiration from pets. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in. We encourage our people to be themselves and contribute through their values and behaviours.
