You will work across Environmental Services to support the delivery of high quality, efficient and effective operational services.

The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that all services are effectively supported through the delivery of a number of projects and business support activities.

This will include the management of relationships with contractors and service providers, dealing with complex customer enquiries and the promotion and improvement of Environmental Services and their delivery to residents and business across York.

You will help to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and implement changes and business change across Waste Services and Pubic Realm.

You will play an active role in the promotion of recycling and the delivery of statutory requirements in regards to waste collection and waste management activities.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role.

Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process.

Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
