Collections & Billings Specialist - Maternity Cover
We have an exciting job opportunity for a Collections & Billings Specialist to join the KONE team for a 10-month maternity cover.
Purpose
The National Collections & Billings Specialist reports to the National Collection & Billing Manager with responsibility to conduct KONE's billing and collections of different invoice types i.e., callouts, service repairs and maintenance contracts.
Key responsibilities:
Callout and Service Repairs billing
- Accountable to process all potentially billable callouts and service repairs jobs.
- Accountable to retrieve and include the attachments as required by the contract (signed visit sheet, customer purchase order).
- Accountable to print and send invoices and attachments.
- Accountable to bill contracts according to the contract billing schedules.
- Responsible of stopping and releasing invoices in case of specific salesperson instructions.
- Accountable to communicate stopped invoices to Sales Manager on a periodic base for review.
- Accountable to generate invoices and collections.
- Accountable to print and send Contract invoices.
- Accountable to cancel invoices or create credit notes in case of contract modifications or cancellations as informed by Maintenance Contract Administrator.
- Conducting collection calls.
- Responsible for the management and resolution of customer invoice queries.
Key skills & experience:
- Experience in managing major national customer accounts.
- Billings & Collections experience is essential.
- Customer focussed, understanding the needs of the customer and the importance of providing solutions.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, in both written & verbal English.
- Good problem solving & analytical skills.
- IT proficient including intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP).
- SAP is desirable.
