Douglas Scott are proud to be working with one of the UK's leading law firms who are in the market for a Family Partner who has experience in High-Net-Worth Family work to join their office in Manchester City Centre


Responsibilities:


  • Represent clients in divorce proceedings involving highnetworth financial matters, including property division, spousal support, and the division of business assets.
  • Negotiate and draft prenuptial and postnuptial agreements that protect clients' assets and interests in the event of divorce.
  • Advise clients on legal and financial issues related to family business matters, overseas assets, and family trust arrangements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders in a professional and effective manner.
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and other legal proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:


  • At least 7 years of experience in family law, with a focus on highnetworth divorce and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements and other family related matters
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex financial matters related to divorce, including property division, spousal support, and business asset division.
  • Experience negotiating and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
