As a Marketing and Communications Associate Apprentice, you will work with colleagues across Ambition's Marketing and Communications team to help with the day-to-day running of the Marketing and Communications team, supporting effective administration and project planning.


Marketing and Communications support:


  • Support daytoday management of our internal communications to the wider organisation to increase awareness of Marketing and Communications activity.
  • Maintain marketing and Communications templates and version control.
  • Scanning social media to capture positive quotes and testimonials.

Budget administration:


  • Supporting the team by setting up new suppliers, processing purchase quotes and invoices and preparing credit card receipts.
  • Helping to keep our team accountable for timely and accurate budget management.

Reporting:


  • Coordinating the team to contribute to organisational reporting requirements including supporting the preparation of monthly reports for our senior team.
  • Updating project plans and documents as required.

Project management:


  • Maintaining the team's overall project plan so we can keep our projects on track.
  • Maintaining the team's project management and workflow documents and tools so our colleagues in other teams know what is being published, when, and where.
  • Making sure our folders stay tidy and that staff can access the materials and assets they need to communicate effectively.
  • Providing project administration support for team as required.

Events logistics:


  • Diary management for communications events.
  • Supporting the technology for communications events.

Secretariat:


  • Support daytoday management and coordination of Marketing and Communications workshops and meetings, including capturing minutes and actions.
  • Supporting diary and inbox management for the Director of Communications and Culture and Director of Marketing and Communications.
Entry requirements


You'll need to attend an online Zoom screening interview with our Talent Team (don't worry, we're a friendly bunch) and pass initial assessments in Maths and English.

Training to be provided

To meet the requirements of the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship programme, you will need to spend 6 hours a week of your time undertaking off-the-job learning, which will include:

  • Formal training, including online learning and internal learning events
  • 121s with your coach and line manager
  • Observing and shadowing colleagues
  • Writing up learning reflections for your portfolio
  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
