As our Activities Coordinator, you have the opportunity to build excellent rapports with residents and families, and the communities.

Mainly to provide residents with a variety of stimulating activities that not only promote physical but mental and social well-being.

We are looking for full time and part time applicants.

Working hours can be discussed/ flexible.

2 Roles available;

1. We are looking for another energetic Activity Coordinator to join our team (full -time)

2. We are also looking for an Activity coordinator - to focus on OUTINGS - assisting residents to cafes/restaurants/shops/garden centres/community places/any areas of interests. etc.
Typical day for an Activity Coordinator;
To work alongside our experienced and motivated Leisure therapist

• Organise themed and fundraising events as required, based on local holidays, traditions, etc.
• Identify resident's wellbeing and engagement needs/wishes, through research, assessment, observation and discussion
• Organise outings as appropriate, giving consideration to safety needs and staffing requirements
• Liaise with the lead to provide material to be featured in Home Newsletters
• Photogragh events in the home and ensure copies are saved electronically
• Get trained on our electronic care planning system
• Work as part of a team to support and liaise with the Manager to organise annual events including the summer BBQ and Christmas party
• Regularly review resident's needs, the programme of activities and levels of participation, in conjunction with the Manager
• Maintain accurate, complete and legible records ensuring complete activity care records
