Catering Assistant

Salary:
Grade 3, Point 4 (Actual Salary £10,722 per annum)

Contract: 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Rawlins is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant.

Duties will include use of dishwasher or washing up, assisting in the preparation of meals in a busy school kitchen and assisting in food service including use of cashless catering tills and maintaining the hygiene of the kitchen.

Basic Food Hygiene qualification is essential and therefore training will be offered, if required.

Working hours will be 10.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday.

There may be some optional overtime, weekend and evening work which will attract additional payment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Leicestershire's largest secondary school, with over 1500 on roll including more than 300 in our A-level specific Sixth Form.

We are a highly inclusive school having our own Autism and a Moderate Learning Difficulties specialist unit on site alongside our school's SEND support base and Welfare & Success Centre known as 'The Hive'.

Pupils who attend these units are an integrated part of our school community.
